Taiyong Diver
The first PADI TecRec specialty in the world!
The purpose of the Taiyong Diver distinctive specialty course is to provide technical divers with a rationale on conducting dives on this unique deep wreck. The course covers dive planning, techniques, safety considerations, history, flora and fauna to be found on the wreck and local regulations. Prerequisite certification:
- Tec 50 Diver (no equivalent training acceptable to ensure that the student conducts the dives with PADI TecRec rationale and methodology).
- Minimum age requirement 18 years.
- Limited Open water session (max. depth 10m)is required for students who have not been recently tec diving to refresh skills. This is not required if the students have just completed the Tec 50 Diver Course or have conducted technical dives recently.
- Two accelerated decompression dives required for certification. (Max depth 50m)
