Tec Team Equipment Trimix Diving Trimix prices Tec Courses Tec Dive Sites 100m Plus Dives Rebreathers Exploration

We are the only centre in Jordan offering technical diving and training including mixed gas (trimix) and rebreather diving.Our technical instructor trainers are Rod Abbotson and Everette Ingram, both have had technical specialty courses approved by PADI & DSAT. These divers will introduce you to a wealth of new and unexplored dive sites in Aqaba. The tec team has also been recognised by Project AWARE for looking after the deeper environment here in Jordan with clean up tec dives and surveys. We would like to thank all the technical divers who give up their time to help us keep the deeper depths clean. The Tec team has formed a new commercial diving company specialising in deep projects called Aqaba Diving Services.

We have several deep environmental projects running at the moment, removing old nets and fishing line from the deeper areas of the reefs, cleaning up trash that has drifted down to the depths and helping and advising on deep issues within the Aqaba Marine Park.

Deep Trimix tec team members Rod Abbotson and George Ionita are now officially allowed to help companies, the government and the navy in search and recovery operations from 50m to 120m, previously unreachable by all the divers in Jordan.

PADI Tec Basics

After discovering the wreck of the Taiyong in 2004 our tec team has intimate knowledge of this wreck and can take your there easily and safely. We have spent several years surveying this vessel and know the best way to dive it for your level of training - as well as knowing where it is!!

Mark Ellyatt visited Jordan this year to train three team members on the Pelagian rebreather. We have invited Mark out to run further courses in Technical diving and more rebreather training in the future. Contact us for dates.

Now you can complete basic Rebreather training with us on a Dolphin Rebreather - this is good way to see if rebreathers are for you. Rod can also show how this semi closed unit can be a useful tool in technical air diving when you have finished the course.
