Dear Rod,
I've been meaning to drop you a line to thank you for arranging for Chris to supervise me one-to-one for diving recently. That was really good after a gap from diving. He was great - and very patient when I was srruggling to sort out bouyancy with weights etc.
I have dived with various organisations over the years and thought yours was very good for adjusting things to fit round idividual needs - mine with no recent diving and Gus's with only day and a half to fit in his training dives for example.
We got used to how friendly the Jordanians (including the crew) are but the Europeans too were very all friendly and helpful.
Our friend Jane who snorkelled really enjoyed it and plans to snorkel with divers in future.
Thanks again to you all. Regards Jenness Cameron

Just wanted to drop a line to say a big thank you to everyone at Dive Aqaba, and particularly to Suzanne, for facilitating my open water referral last week. It was a great experience - if a little time-pressured (entirely my own fault) and certainly made me want to do more diving. But not in the cold northern waters of Scotland!
All the best.

Dear Rod -
Pip and I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for yesterday.
We had a lovely time on Laila - it wasn't quite the day we expected but very enjoyable and such an honour to meet Queen Rania - she really is very beautiful.
Your staff were great and April, in particular, made our day more pleasurable. She couldn't have done more to help, making sure everyone was happy and helping with kit etc. She also took Pip off snorkeling when she wasn't able to dive.
We appreciated your kind gesture of not charging us for the day. The company we booked the trip with - Ride World Wide - asked us to let them know how we got on with Dive Aqaba and also Emmanuelle Lancon who organises the riding in Wadi Rum. We will of course pass on good reports and hope it helps bring in new clients in the future.
We would love a couple of the pictures of Queen Rania on the boat if you are able to send them.
We will pass your regards onto Crosby!
Best wishes
Julia and Pip

My first time in Jordan was great, Aqaba has plenty of dive sites both shallow with a veritable Grand National of Sea Horses and Frog Fish competing for memory stick space right down to Deep for Epic Duels with Optimism.
George, Rod and Phil did MOD 1 Pelagian over 7 days and Rod and George completed Dolphin user. We finished off the week with some simulated Trimix Deep OC dives which were fun too
Topside in Jordan is incredible too, what with Petra, Wadi Rum and ze Dead Sea all just an hour or so by car

Hi Rod,Ash,Gary,Susie,Lynne,
We are now back in sunny Barcelona albeit not as sunny and warm as Aqaba.
We want to say many thanks to you all (and particularly Gary for your excellent personal attention) for a great 3 days of diving. We will certainly come back - Renée wants to do that Wall. Perhaps we'll bring another 2mm of clothing next time though, or come later in the year!
Thanks again guys.

This is just a quick note to thank you on behalf of the Chick Family for a very enjoyable few days diving.
We all really appreciated your help and advice throughout.
Anya and Lottie would particularly like to say thanks for the entertainment provided by Ash and on my own behalf thanks for the birthday cake.
Toby has got his mind set on doing an internship with yourselves at some point, so we must keep in touch. As for the rest of us we will definitely be having another diving holiday with you at some point in the future.
Thanks once again

Dearest Rod(Aqaba,Jordan),Dearest Steve(Thailand)
I am writing to express my DEEPEST, MOST SINCERE, ADMIRATIVE and APPRECIATIVE THANKS for your superlative training and rigour in sticking to the planned dive and diving the plan!
How can I thank you and Steve for training me in such a professional and rigourous way, not only to be able to keep me alive over all the challenges I am exposing myself to, but to save someone else's life!!!! You are the best! You're the unsung heroes here today! Without you and your training, I wouldn't have been able to do anything, not diddly squat! As I was thinking back upon my life in Munich, with my neck slipped disks, and reflecting on what good I did in the world, I didn't come up with much. after today, with you two, loads: defying the stacked odds, and prevailing in an incident of underwater O2 convulsions, saving the life of the diver involved!!!!!! you are the very best!
Loads of hugs and LOL and appreciation and love!
George

Hello Ash & Rod,
I hope you are all well, and wish you a happy new year.
As you may recall, Miss Muna and I completed the Open Water course last December at your prestigious institution.
On that note, I would like to thank you all for the great time we had. The atmosphere was very friendly and professional both at the center and on the boat.
Please send our best regards to all, especially our instructor, Tariq.
Sincerely,
Mo

Hi Gary (Draycott),
Don't know if you remember us but Jeanette and I did our Open / Advanced with you at the end of August. We have just come back from a week in Sharm. I have been meaning to say how impressed we were with you and how much confidence you gave us. Having seen other diving staff operate this is even more the case so thanks a lot for your efforts. Jeanette is now jumping in and we did 12 dives over the week. Bought a 'Dive' mag at the airport and you feature in it! That will be really good publicity for the company so we are really pleased. We are hankering after big fish now - hammerhead sharks - bring it on! Jeanette is making noises about the Maldives so I better get a second job! We are off to our local dive centre tommorrow to ask about a rescue divers course. I have done a couple of free dives in caves since August and have been promised some trips with cave diving friends but need to invest about £1,000 in gear I can't use elsewhere (din regulator, 7mm wetsuit, harness, shortened hoses etc). Will probably spend the money on holidays instead for now.
Anyway Gary, thank you again for your introduction. We hope you are both well and happy.
All the best,
Malcolm Halsey

Hi Dive-aqaba team,
Thank you very much for the two fantastic dive-days and the incredible dive experiences you gave us.
Not only the under-water was great, also your friendlyness, professionalism, care and enthousiasm and lots of laughing really made our two days diving to a great experience. Thanks to Raed, Ash's cousin, who recommended DiveAqaba.
Ash!, your lunch was great!!!
When we are in Jordan again some time in the future we will definitely pass by. If not, we will recommend our friends to do so.
All the best next year and enjoy the fun!!

As a cold december day in England dawns, Dive Aqaba seems a distant dream of sea, great diving, sun, food, exotic fish, good companions and Amstel. And the Amstel reminds me of Ash, and the dream becomes...Omid Djalili on a bad night!
