Tec Level One
The Tec Level One Diver course is intended for those divers who do not yet have the prerequisite experience and training needed to move into technical deep diving,
but who wish to begin developing the skills and knowledge involved.
Course duration 3-5 days depending on preparedness.
- PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent
- 18 years old
- PADI Enriched Air diver or equivalent.
- PADI Deep Diver or equivalent
- 50 logged dives, including 10 using enriched air, 12 below 18 metres and 6 below 30 metres.
You'll learn to:
- Make gas-switch extended no-stop dives to 40 metres using air and enriched air up to 60% oxygen, using the technical diving equipment and procedures.
- Practise the motor skills required for technical diving
- Understand the hazards and risks involved with technical diving
- Respond to reasonably foreseeable emergencies that may occur in technical diving.
